Abstract
This study was conducted to gain information regarding relations between certain environmental conditions and hyperactivity following frontal resection. The basic question was: will locomotor behavior vary in relation to specific stimulus conditions, including those resulting from time of day? It was believed that activity changes would be present in some environmental conditions and not present in others. In the two frontal resectioned animals, locomotor behavior exceeded preoperative levels. Results, however, did not reveal effects of specific environmental changes on locomotor or other observable forms of behavior. The belief that activity changes would be related to specific environmental conditions was not substantiated.
