An electrode connector for chronic brain implants can be inexpensively assembled from small commercial plastic strips, pre-drilled to accept miniature crimp contacts. Strips can be cut to any length with pliers and cemented together in various versatile forms. Crimps are easily applied to electrodes before surgery and inserted into strips during surgery. Twelve or more electrodes on a rat's skull are feasible.
