The purpose of this investigation was to determine success of 6-yr.-old boys in T-baseball. These young athletes (100 players in a 10-team league) were very proficient in the offensive component of batting the ball from a stationary tee, however, 62% of all balls in play resulted in errors. Possible reasons for poor defensive performance are discussed.
