The Kahn Intelligence Test was given to 48 moderately to severe mentally retarded, institutionalized patients ranging in CA from 6 to 56 yr. Correlation of IQs on this non-verbal test and the Stanford-Binet, L-M, was .90. Contrary to expectations, analysis of variance indicated significant and consistent differences in favor of the Stanford-Binet.
