The Activity Vector Analysis (AVA) was administered to samples drawn from a population of graduate students in psychology at an Indian university, with instructions that would elicit Ss' public image perceptions of 8 internationally known personalities. Three clusters of profiles were noted. One included Kosygin, Mao, and Wallace, another one included De Gaulle and Wilson, and still another, included Hussein, I. Ghandhi, and Radhakrishnah, the great Indian philosopher.
