Abstract
The impact of the government upon the arts holds potential which is the concern of every musician. On Saturday morning, March 19, 1966 at the Music Educators National Conference in Kansas City, John Brademas, co-sponsor of the bill to establish a National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities, spoke of some of the problems, present achievements, and promises which lie ahead for the arts in America.
