Mr. Hesch outlines valuable pointers for individuals planning to or just embarking upon a career in music education. As the title implies, there are many necessary qualifications for music educators other than a knowledge of music. If an awareness of these qualifications is known upon entering the profession, a music educator can surely exnect a more rewarding career both in point of service to the community and to himself.
