Abstract
THE responsibility is not just to administer a program of music teaching, but to assume a position of dynamic leadership in a world seeking peace and security, for, as this high school principal sees it, “From the realization of the force of music education can come a quickening of American spirit, a deepening of emotion and sentiment and a mounting sense of seriousness and integrity … and respect for human rights.”
