Abstract
THESE contributions from the presidents of the MENC Divisions, prepared for this issue of the Journal at the request of the Editorial Board, provide an overview of some of the thinking and planning which will be reflected in the programs of the 1947 spring meetings and in the preparatory activities to be carried on during the fall and winter months. (The calendar for the 1947 conventions is printed on page 17. Dates for the fall planning meetings — sometimes called “pre-conference conferences”—in the respective host cities will be announced in the near future.)
