Abstract
Much information and research on educational technology originates outside of the university community and often in non-print media form. Gradually new information in the field is included and stored in a variety of library bibliographic sources. Because research questions in educational technology derive from our current understanding of information in the field, it is important to be clear about how that information is organized. Since information on a topic in one source leads to other sources, the way scientific literature is searched should not be random. It requires a step by step procedure that covers all sources where particular topics are treated. An example of LOGO is used to show how one topic in educational technology is referenced in the library.
