Abstract
The authors have attempted to outline in the form of model methodology the most effective way for implementing an overall drug curriculum in the existing school structure. They have given special attention to the importance of the following crucial points:
The urgency of understanding the problem. Identifying goals and establishing priorities. Development of appropriate committees. Coordinating the findings of the committees. Early preparation of the budget for the program. Development of appropriate evaluative instruments and continual involvement of the school administration as the program evolves.
Involvement between the faculty and staff as the program is developed is stressed.
