This article is the result of serious speculation about the role of radio in solving some of the social and psychological problems of adolescents and young adults in developing countries. It can also be considered as a pilot study and the first part of a very extensive content analysis research that will be hopefully carried out in future.
The findings show the necessity of further research in relation of mass media and interpersonal communication. It will also contribute to our understanding of the real place of radio in the lives of adolescents when faced by social and psychological problems which other social agencies cannot help them with.
