Abstract
Collaborative learning has been shown to have positive learning outcomes for students. As more companies do business globally, distance communication and collaboration among employees and business partners is becoming critically important. Technological change is enabling instructors to explore different ways to use collaborative learning pedagogies. Internet technology has revolutionized communication capabilities and has led to a variety of delivery systems for media transmission. This paper describes the application of Internet technologies for collaboration of distributed student teams working on real-world case problems.
