Abstract
Four LOGO-based, computer adaptive angle and distance estimation assessment tools are described and verified for internal consistency, test/retest reliability, and construct, face and content validity in this article. The methods delineated serve as the foundation for a call for similar instrument verification in other educational research. Issues concerning the appropriateness of traditional notions of instrument reliability and assumed distinctions between measurement instruments and learning tools are also discussed.
