Abstract
The Computer Awareness Laboratory is a traveling van, equipped with several computers, which brings computer capability to schools and school children who otherwise would not have an opportunity for first hand experience. This paper describes the background for this project and gives a description of the contents of the van and the activities that take place at each visit. An evaluation of the first years activities are presented and plans for the future are given.
