This study introduces a practical approach toward the quality control of workshops given in the field of drug abuse prevention and in community mental health settings. The evaluation instrument used is the Workshop Evaluation Questionnaire (WEQ) which probes into the following three issues: 1) respondents' overall reaction to the workshop; 2) the effectiveness of the workshop in generating learnings; and 3) the degree of application of the techniques the participants have learned to their environments.
