Abstract
The topic of this article is the development of an instrument which is designed to aid the unit developer in the revision of elementary and secondary school units. In preparation for this, a teaching unit is defined, and its nature and composition are described.
The instrument development activity starts by acknowledging the constraints of data type, unit production, resource limitation and unit variation which confront the developer. It is continued by specifying some of the desirable characteristics which such instruments should have: namely, relevancy, practicality, and interpretability. And it is concluded by the production of an instrument which incorporates these characteristics, which is entitled, “Lesson Check.”
