Abstract
The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) plays a vital role in the educational and vocational system in Kuwait. PAAET consists of two main sectors: the applied education sector and the training sector. The focus in this article is on the training sector of PAAET. The training sector suffers from a number of administrative and academic problems which have affected its output over recent years due to its slowness in evolution. This article is a field study which attempts to shed light on these problems by adopting the Telecommunication and Navigation Institute (TNI) as a case study, and we propose our vision toward some solutions to improve the situation.
