Man prides himself upon his intelligence and transmission of culture. However, thousands of people are arbitrarily retired annually. The distinguished American philosopher Paul Weiss took his case to court, arguing his ability and his right to teach regardless of age. New colleges should use emeritus professors to benefit students of all ages.
