Abstract
The article details the step-by-step evolvement of a community and school district's efforts to deal with problems of drug abuse. The efforts included establishment of a community organization and facility, use of youth group leaders, education of teachers, parents, and students and liaison with various community health agencies. A major effort was made to get youth involvement in all stages of development of the programs.
