The Driving Range Site (33Ha586) represents a multicomponent occupation located in southwestern Ohio on a low terrace overlooking the Little Miami River floodplain. This article focuses on the Late Fort Ancient occupation (post-AD 1400) and has three purposes: 1) to provide a detailed descriptive account of the artifact assemblage and site structure; 2) to present evidence that the site represents the remains of a late fall through early winter occupation; and 3) to discuss the significance of the site in relation to Fort Ancient settlement dynamics in the Middle Ohio Valley.
