Abstract
This article describes the cooperative efforts of the Addiction Services Agency of New York City and The City University of New York in formulating the Narcotics Institute for Teachers. The article discusses the problems involved in organizing the Institute and the goals of the Institute. The content material for the Institute is discussed and various types of evaluative experiences are outlined. The value of feedback from the participants is emphasized in revising content and in insuring that the Institute made a meaningful contribution to the efforts of the schools to combat drug abuse problems in New York City.
