Abstract
We describe the design and operation of a computerized objective-based instructional support system. Single-point-in-time criterion mastery testing and periodic trend test sampling combine to form a dynamic evaluation system. Student and group learning curves are readily assembled from timely computer reports. Performance feedback, interpretation, and instructional decision-making become a continuous quantitatively supported process.
