Abstract
Teachers participating in an initial two-day field-tested LOCO training program received group-focused prosthetic motivational statements based upon formats described by Medland and Vitale [1]. Results showed that compared to controls, teachers receiving statements displayed a more positive attitude toward LOGO training, both upon the conclusion of the initial training session and after a six-week interpolated time period. Additionally, the experimental teachers also reported greater incidences of using their training skills for subsequent LOGO instruction in their schools.
