This article highlights the implementation and evaluation of a unique health education program in the Arab Gulf countries, the mobile nutrition education unit in rural areas of Bahrain. The idea of this program is to reach the rural mothers in their communities through a mobile unit. The evaluation process showed that the nutrition program has a good impact on the health and nutrition knowledge and practices of mothers. However, several activities are needed to strengthen this program.
