Abstract
This study investigated the Wonderlic Personnel test scores of 65 methadone maintenance patients, comparing them to scores of job applicants as tested by E. F. Wonderlic and Associates. Results showed a significant difference between the scores of the methadone patients compared to Wonderlic's sample. When the subjects were matched according to their level of education, there was no significant difference. This puts them at a disadvantage, as employers do not take this into consideration when they are looking for potential employees.
