It is the dream of every post-graduate student to have their work accepted for publication in a much-admired journal. A group of experienced social workers/fledgling authors at the University of Western Australia joined forces with the specific aim of helping one another to achieve the dream. This article sets out the process our group, known as The Writers’ Circle, followed, highlighting those aspects of the group process we found particularly helpful. In sharing this with the readers of Families in Society our intention is to make the realization of the dream accessible to others.
