Abstract

The original letter from Radaelli and Riva was edited for brevity and clarity. It is the policy of the Journal of Histochemistry & Cytochemistry, based on the recommendations of the Histochemical Society’s Standards of Practice Committee, to include the species, clonality, source, and clone name/catalog number of all antibodies that appear in articles. 1 As the Histochemical Society’s leadership noted previously, 2 this remains a chronic challenge in the biomedical literature. Having assumed the editorship in January 2016, I can attest to the challenge of reaching this goal and published this letter in an effort to maintain the highest standards in publication and reproducibility.
