Spectra with a resolution of about 0.06 cm−1 obtained by a Fourier transform spectrometer have been calibrated by the internal standard method. An accuracy of 3 × 10−3 cm−1 over intervals of several thousand wavenumbers has been obtained by measuring the lines with a precision of 2 × 10−3 cm−1 and by using a large number of standard lines.
