Some of the factors affecting the precision of analysis of aqueous solutions by the rotrodc technique are described. These include speed of revolution, depth of solution, electrode material, pre-spark time, and variations in integration time which is automatically controlled by the internal standard intensity. Suggestions are made to minimize these effects to give the best precision
