Abstract
A spectrochemical method has been evolved for the determination of trace elements in soils and plants with the objects of reducing the microphotometry involved in the variable internal standard method and of increasing the throughput of samples. A 3-step filter replaces the step sector and evaluation is achieved from an emulsion calibration curve prepared from step filter data using the Respektra calculator. The errors involved in certain stages are studied, and the resulting method shows an accuracy comparable to the original.
