A quantitative spectrographic procedure is described for the determination of the following alloying constituents in indium within the designated concentration ranges, silver (1.0 to 3 0%), gallium (0 1 to 2 0%), zinc (0 1 to 2 0%), and aluminum (0 1 to 1 0%) A porous cup solution technique is used with a c spark excitation and indium as an internal standard reference The accuracy of the method ranges from 4.0 to 8 3% of the amount found, depending on the element and concentration level of interest
