A method for the spectrochemical analysis of white metals by the point to plane spark technique for the determination of major, minor and impurity elements is described Part one of this paper covers the common lead base alloys such as antimonial lead, typemetals, babbitts and solders. Part two deals with the common tin base alloys, namely babbitts and solders.
