Abstract
Two errors occurred in the May issue of Applied Spectroscopy in the Focal Point article “Micro- and Macro-Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopic Imaging”, by S. G. Kazarian and K. L. A. Chan [Applied Spectroscopy, vol. 64, issue 5, pp. 135A–152A (2010)].
The first, a reference number error, occurred on page 142A, right column, last sentence in the second paragraph from the bottom. The sentence with the correct reference number, in bold, appears here:
“The lack of such alignment in certain commercial accessories would result in non-uniform penetration depths across the imaged area.32”
The second error occurred with regard to the caption of Fig. 14 on page 148A. The figure shows an image of PBMA, not PBMS. The correct caption, with the changes in bold, appears here:
