Abstract

Some copy-editing errors occurred in our January issue in the article “Efficient Characterization for Protein Crystals Using Confocal Raman Spectroscopy”, by Kohki Noda, Hidetoshi Sato, Shu Watanabe, Shigeyuki Yokoyama, and Hideo Tashiro, Appl. Spectrosc. 61, 11–18 (2007). We apologize for these errors.

On page 13, an underbar appeared in the last sentence in the first paragraph on the page. “The more detailed results are_shown later.” This underbar should not appear. The correct sentence is as follows:

The more detailed results are shown later.

Table II, on page 14, was printed incorrectly. It should have appeared as follows, where all instances of “pH” should have been “PH” for “pinhole”:

Equation 2, on page 16, was printed incorrectly. It should have appeared as follows, where powers of ½ have been changed to square roots, and “pH” should have been “PH”, for “pinhole”:
