Abstract
US hospitals and health systems continue to push forward with electronic health record (EHR) implementation in the wake of meaningful use. EHR implementation is surrounded by many decisions. Our readers could probably write volumes detailing the challenges they have already faced in their quests. In this installment, we address the long-standing challenge of deciding between integrated and interfaced systems.
