Abstract
Portable information appliances have become ubiquitous in pharmacy practice. The value of virtually anytime-anywhere information access is arguably the most important feature of these devices. However, this ability is also one of the most significant threats of using these devices. Portable information access poses certain security risks that we were not presented with prior to the adoption of these devices. This installment addresses mobile computing and how to increase the security of your personal digital assistant/smartphone use.
