The Shirley Glasstone Hughes Trust Fund is managed by the British Dental Association (BDA). Its aim is to provide grants for research in primary dental care. As such, it should be of great interest to all FGDP(UK) members who either are involved in or aspire to be involved in research. In short, it provides ‘a great new way to engage busy general dental practitioners (GDPs) in the research agenda’. This article will explain how.
