Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explain the science behind motor skill transfer and describe a specific method for transferring from the long to the standard putter. The Challenge Point Framework for Motor Learning is used as the basis to describe the process of learning a new skill or for transferring from one skill to another, and is used to describe how this process can be significantly improved. Specific steps are prescribed that will significantly enhance the stress resistant learning and greatly increase one's potential to transfer from an anchored to standard putter with maximal efficiency.
