Abstract
Numerous industries need to control powder flow or inhibit particulate build-up. Acoustic pressure offers a means of achieving this. Liverpool University scientists have helped a small UK company to gain credibility in overseas markets by developing a better understanding of its acoustic products. Now they have shown how to use high sound levels to reliably remove electrostatically bonded particles.
