Abstract
In our April 2001 issue, we ran an article “Introducing the new 20-year aircraft war” which, following on an EU report “European Aeronautics: A vision for 2020” described Europe's plans to take over the USA's dominant position in commercial aircraft production. We are now able to update on further developments.
