A thorough investigation on the seismic response of lattice shells is presented in this paper. Based on the theoretical analysis and hundreds of calculating examples, conclusions on the seismic performances of lattice shells are obtained. As a result, practical methods on calculating internal forces for lattice shells due to earthquake are introduced in the Technical Specification for Lattice Shells in China.
