Abstract
Nexorades, or Reciprocal frame systems, work according to a simple concept and are easily constructible. It was a perfect topic for a one week workshop. The geometrical complexity of nexorades was undertaken thanks to 1:5 mochups that were used to achieve form-finding. It enabled students to build full-scale structures to face defined emergency situations with specific requirements.
