Abstract
This present paper makes a tentative study on an active isolation system which utilizes a bracket bonded with PZTs. Two big PZTs is used as actuators, and two small ones are used as sensors to detect the internal response of the Z-bracket. Accelerometers are used to detect the original vibration original and the isolated vibration level. The adaptive feedforward algorithm for active vibration isolation is improved in this study. The experiment demonstrates the efficiency of the isolation performance of the Z-bracket bonded with PZTs using adaptive feedforward control.
