Abstract
Recently, complaints about low frequency noise are increasing in Japan. In Inter-Noise ′99, Ochiai has reported the following three kinds of evaluation methods for effects caused by infra and low frequency noise.
An evaluation for rattling of doors or windows. An evaluation for psychological and sleep effects An evaluation for oppressive or vibratory sensation.
We have developed a measuring instrument corresponding to the above evaluation methods. In this report, an outline of the instrument and examples of infra and low frequency noise data are introduced.
