In Fazal and colleagues’ Grand Round (JRSM 2007;100:573–5),1 there is an incorrect date. Takotsubo cardiomyopathy was first reported by Satoh et al. in 1990;2–4 Kawai et al., cited in the Fazal article, published their report ten years later.
