The effect of repeated cisternal puncture and withdrawal of cerebro-spinal fluid in the dog

Abstract

The only change in the constituents of the cerebra-spinal fluid recorded after 10 punctures of the cisterna magna, with replacement of the fluid by physiological saline, was a slight decrease in the glucose values.
