Abstract
The Manufacturing Business Unit of Parsons Power Generation Systems Limited has had to change to sustain its position as a world class manufacturer of heavy engineering products. The change mechanism used was systems engineering applied to a new area of business. Acting as a model for the rest of the business, the facility manufacturing aerospace components is used as an example in this discussion of introducing and managing change.
