Abstract
A computer program has been written to help undergraduates learn the rudiments of thermodynamic processes and cycles by using computer-generated data rather than by the more laborious method using tables. The process or cycle can be defined by the student, and can be displayed to scale on a selection of thermodynamic property diagrams. Although the program is intended primarily for teaching, it may also be used for simple design optimization.
