Abstract
Drawing on his experience in the processing industries, with particular reference to British Petroleum, the author sets out some strategies for success in industry. The business aspects are identified and broadly outlined; the harnessing of technology for profitable growth is discussed in detail and illustrated with some examples of successful projects within British Petroleum.
